This song by the late Taiwanese singer, 高凌風 (Frankie Kao aka The Frog Prince), was a personal fave. It never fails to bring up memories of watching him doing his song and dance routine backed by two female singers on national television. To me, 高凌風 was like an Asian Elvis from outer space, with his cheesy flamboyance and catchy tunes. Years later, while working at a record store, I heard this song again and was amazed by its incredible funky drumming and horn stabs. Although the production sounded thin, there's no denying that its infectious groove stays with you even after the song has ended.
With that in mind, I came up with this cover art that gives the look and feel of that era, trying my best to capture that spirit of the Frog Prince as a performer. It's also how I would want it to look like if the song was released as a 12 inch single. RIP Frankie, you will always be the ultimate Tiko Disko legend.
